Jigsaw Puzzles

I saw the Post your desktop was in this section and wondered during Covid (or even before, members made jigsaw puzzles - remember those puzzles in M*y*a*r etc of some of the lovelies - has anyone ever made them?

I started doing jigsaws this year in lockdown and they get you in after a while - This one is 1000 piece by a Company called Hinkler (based here in Melbourne) and the type of puzzle is called Mindbogglers - so far I have made 32 of them and there is about another 70 under that label. A few of the scenes have appeared in the above thread mainly by Trailmaster.

This one took a while, over 20 swans going in all directions.

I still have this one to make. The ET The Extraterrestrial original poster. Bought it two years ago and I never find the time to start the building of it.

As a retired antique dealer I have ended up with some over a hundred years old. One victorian puzzle has nine pieces but no picture so I cant complete it.

This one is called Sunny Garden by Crown - good one to do with children with all the vegetables

Calling some of the children vegetables is discriminatory and unkind

I love wentworth puzzles , great quality, smell lovely, and can be difficult

I did a 10 piece jigsaw in 5 minutes once. I wasa really proud of myself, the box said 2-4 years.

No, with crackers you just get poxy joined rings as a puzzle
