Goodbye my friend Erdy
I think i was one of the last Erdnuss´s friends. Being a newbie on the forum he was the first to make me feel among friends, to show me a human side in the forum, something that i had always intended to convey in my posts. He helped me on many issues and difficulties I had, and still have, with certain procedures.
We did play with words almost every day, trying to discover the means of the German and Portuguese words, a diversion of two boys. We liked the same artists and exchanged a lot of information about music. Our friendship grew faster, despite being in such distant countries and different cultures, we had many things in common, as a daughter and a wife. He was planning a trip to Brazil, to know each other. To have an idea of his generosity, my current avatar and my signature was him who edited and improved, just a few weeks ago! I was looking to find here some copies of Brazilian pleasure magazine, in secret, for him to post, since he was the pleasureman. In one of his first PM to me, reading one of my posts where I said “thank god for be a big kid yet”, he said he felt the same, an adult but with the spirit of a 14 year old boy, which I answered that it certainly made him a better person and that we should never lose sight of those boys we were! For surely we would have a better world if everyone thought so! The curious thing is that I did not know his real name, Matz, but this did not matter because we do not really need to knew personal details to realize that he was a nice guy! He never mentioned his health condition and always maintained a cheerful and positive attitude! I confess that I am very shaken by the news. Left to us honoring his legacy and elevate our thoughts to the departed friend. I pray to the forces of good in this universe to receive our dear friend with all the graces he deserve! Hey Matz! Thanks to the opportunity to have met you in this life, man! As he taught me in the german lessons, late in the nights we used to spend awake: Biss dann mein freund! He called me Ram!

This is sad news.
Thanks to Spazierhier, for informing me. We communicated almost daily, and I knew something was wrong, when I didn't hear from him for a week. I knew about his heart problems, and was hoping he'd come back and tell me of another health scare. He was my closest forum friend. We modded the classic sections at Fritchy together. He had a sort of child like enthusiasm, and was like a kid brother to me. R.I.P. my friend, Erdnuss/AgentP. I already miss you.

Rest In Peace.
I believe I may be in a mild form of shock, as in "I can't get my head around it" much as I would for someone I've known personally.
Admittedly I didn't know him as well as many of you, having shared probably no more than a dozen PM's over the years. Never really in my role as a moderator, although I believe he may have preferred to maintain that mod/member relationship, for whatever reasons. He was never a problem for me. My first PM was to ask if he'd mind if I linked to some of his scans for a post of mine and out of that a friendship developed. In his last PM's he asked for due credit to be given by another member who'd 'borrowed' some of his scans. (Same as I'd do for anyone who'd supply me with links to original posts, as did he.) In early September he told me he used to mod at Fritchy and asked to be re-friended. I wasn't aware, then that he'd de-friended (?) me and sent him a friendship request. He apologised (needlessly) for his (not) bad English. I called him 'mate' and I meant it! I wasn't aware that he had health issues, nor that he was younger than me. I always assumed by his courteous manner that he was the elder. Forty Four is too young to leave ! Commiserations for your friends and family. Your memory will live on in my 'eternal' hard drive. |

I don't have the words for these occasions, but I always turn up.
RIP Erdy.

I have been blubbing all morning since hearing this sad news, and I don't blub easily!
We communicated a lot, even outside VEF, about the things we liked and disliked. Erdy was a true friend on VEF, not just someone whose friend box had been ticked. He always tried to please. For example, once I received some mags I had bought on-line I found in the packet two extra mags as a gift - he was not the seller, but he had contacted the seller to make that gift to me. He had a child-like enthusiasm you rarely find amongst grown-ups which was very charming (and occasionally ever so slightly over-bearing ). |

I do not speak English. I arrived in this comment accidentally, by the section Search of the forum... RIP, Erdnuss

Very sad at the news erdnuss has died. I did not have a great deal of contact with him but still we enjoyed some PMs, mostly about Wortspiele (word-play) and language (alas, mostly mine), sometimes about other things more personal. Others have already noted his great kindness and readiness to share. His curiosity about the world and other people, his eagerness to connect, and his straightforward communication (no, that's not a misprint, I mean it) made him a delightful person whom I am so glad I had the chance to know, albeit only briefly. My thoughts are with his family.
