Katherine "Scottie" MacGregor aka Harriet Oleson from Little House on the Prairie has died. She was 93.
I grew up watching this show (very very young); the opening sequence still gives me a warm feeling; remembering a simpler time. One of the great pleasant themes for a show. What would an innocent show like Little House have been without its prime Villain, and Harriet Oleson and her daughter, Nellie, were two villains in one. Oh I hated Harriet Oleson and her daughter Nelly; They were the rich family in town that owned the store, contrasting with the poor good Ingalls. Caroline Ingalls meets Harriet Oleson for the first time. |

It has been a long time but I could never forget Roy Clark, his decidedly Country voice, his flannel. He loved his flannel shirts and overalls. RIP Roy Clark |
