Finally after all these years its possible to tell others about the frustration of being ripped off by porn companies selling poor quality products and false advertising. I would like to get the ball rolling by outing Baracuda. Bought 3 vids made from them recently, and the women on the cover wasnt in the film or the scenes depicted werent the ones shown. Really pissed that this still goes on after all these years. Maybe we can get the word out and help companies like this to go out of business.

If i cant verify whose in a video from 2 reputable sources which is proven by vidcaps/reviews and at least find some decent user feedback saying they've had successful dealings with them I dont touch anyone - great content or not

Even trusted sites with a pretty good reputation ie excaliburfilms offer films for sale which dont include the girl their listed under...even when emailed a correction it never changes

Even worse are billing companies like ccbill that even after you've complained about a dodgy dealer do absolutely nothing but ignore you

Kind of tells me the internet is nothing more than the wild west in disguise and about the only thing the authorities care about is making sure models are over 18



Your only comeback with the dodgy dealers is charging back for goods not received(if you have a decent credit card company/bank)the amount but then you run the risk of being black listed as i've been

I agree. I have had horribly frustrating times trying to unsubscribe from porn sites. You have to choose from three to five billing companies. If you forget which one, you're screwed.

If you do subscribe to one of those dodgy sites, write down all the info you used to get in because they're going to make you regurgitate it all to get back out, otherwise they'll keep billing you $39.99 a month for eternity!

One time I saw on my billing statement I was paying sixty bucks a month for a site called "Boobtropolis." WTF? I never subscribed to any "Boobtropolis"! The trouble is, I had. Where they get you is when you're subscribing to another site, they'll have a promo offer: Check here for a free trial of Boobtropolis -- the world's hottest blah blah blah. The box is already checked and the free trial ends in 72 hours, after which you pay some ungodly fee. BUT you were too busy trying to get into the first site to notice any of that!

Porn is FULL of rip-off artists. There is some great content out there, however, when I have subscribed to a pay site, it's only because I've found content from it for free elsewhere, such as on Im*geF*p (which is kinda dodgy too). However, when I've paid for the subscription, I've always discovered the only content worth downloading was the free stuff I already had!

Bit of shame the defunct x3guide(1700 reviews closed as off 2004)doesnt exist anymore as it stripped away the layers of deceptive marketing many websites were using by simply stating the facts in reviews versus what I'd call cheerleading which seem to sum up most review sites

ie how often updated,tour promises met or not,comparisons to other similarly priced sites

yeah one of the porn site tricks is to put the extra site subscription box where most sites have the tick if over 18 box is. so out of habit people tick that box thinking its the over 18's box and end up being billed for an extra site which is usually more expensive than the original sit subscribed to.
one site i used to love but hate now is TAC amateurs 2. its a portal site that links you to amatuers/professionals that come under various genres like mature, bbw, teen etc. it used to be good because there were a large number of sites, a good selection of pics and videos on most sites and you had various genres to go through. seems though in their infinite wisdom they have done away with direct downloadable videos and have replaced them with streaming only. they claim this is to help people who dont want to download, but the pain in the arse is now you have to use softeare to save the flv from the streama nd because its a bit ropey you then need to convert it from flv. so instead of being able to download lots of good content it now takes a lot longer and is a lot more of a pain int he arse to do.

Have you tried looking in the temporary internet folder? (Tools/internet options/Browsing history delete/view files). Sometimes streamed video is saved in here, and can be copied to the desktop or wherever you like. Doesn't always work, though.

i tried that but it doesnt work for some reason. ended up using orbit downloader which is a good piece of software but its annoying to have to mess around so much when it used to be just click and download.
