Now I'm finishing Doom. Again. Me......and my lovely lovely chainsaw. She never lets me down, always loyal to the bitter end, what a beautiful beautiful chainsaw.

I hope it's easier than Wolfenstein The New Order! I loved and replayed Wolfenstien on PS3 but I never got far with Wolfenstein TNO.

I have Doom for PS1 that I dig out an play from time to time... I even played it back in the day when it came out on PC!

There are rumors about a possible remaster of L.A. Noire for the PS4. I can't remember playing that one since I never owned a PS3 but it has been praised by most gamers. Definitely getting it as soon as it's out.

A System Shock remake is underway too. I remember the original game from 1994. It was very confusing and inaccessible for me at the time but I was probably too young to understand a complex game like that. The sequel was another great game but significantly different from its predecessor with its emphasis on horror.

I adored the first Silent Hill. At the time it was the best game I'd played. But there was a feeling of boring familiarity about the series with each new game. I felt it never advanced. The Room was awful but I persevered. In the end I got rid of all but the original. Last week I bought The Evil Within. I'd played it before but felt there was no replay value. With the sequel due in October I thought I'd remind myself. Half way through I gave up. It's a good story but I got fed up of replaying a certain boss time and time again. However, I would highly recommend it to Silent Hill fans.
