As for a TV series. I'd love to seen an intelligent version of Roger Zelazny's Princes In Amber series (I mean if they can turn that turgid dross Game Of Thrones into a series why not some well written Sword and Sorcery) and a movie of his Lord Of Light Last edited by Sir Honkers; May 6th, 2013 at 12:18 PM.. |

There were at least 2 films made during wwii about the Merchant Navy, theres San Demetrio London and Action in the North Atlantic. The latter film stars Humphrey Bogart and is set on an American merchantman on the Russian convoys. The Cruel Sea also shows the Merchant Navy.

Movies or TV Series You`d like to see made.
No clue if i`ve said this before.
Mind you when an idea is good it`s always worth repeating. So i`d plump for What with the way CGI is nowadays this Stalin series could really be done smooth starry battle filled bloody violent cinematic justice. Although i`d have the film take place after the original Metamorphosis series. Not to say the original wouldn`t be brilliant to watch up on the big screen or on Blu Ray. It`s just the story that follows afterwards is much more frenetic , intense and yes colourful Hmmmmm i`m thinking most of you don`t know what the hell i`m typing about Still, what else is new

Wouldn't mind a Spectre television series.
I was honestly impressed with the Spectre animated short found on a DC Animated movie as a extra, but I always liked the character, and would like to see him get a shot at TV since I don't think a film featuring the character is going to happen anytime soon. Unless of course that Justice League Dark movie ever gets made ... |

Hey all i`m saying is surely far better The Flash , than the Green Arrow !.
True (Back in the day ) there was a weirdly massively meaty thighed show created of , Made many moons ago. Only lets be fair it was bleeding terrible Which was a shame considering how well fleshed out and written the actual comic book character Barry Allen was Hell even later Wally West was darn superb , plus way back then as in now ,the terrific tales were if you think about it already perfectly storyboarded for direction onto the screen. Also either incarnation had plenty of truly villainous villains available. Oh man it could be a pretty bloody decent show. Ok ok if not back then. Certainly today, i believe !.

Movies or TV Series You`d like to see made
Although I've a strong fondness for the buggered up first attempt , and even felt the semi wanky mini series wasn't all bad , kinda-ish.
Still and once again (Considering there`s another re-re-re-booted Spider-Man movie heading our way) I lament that really real original (It certainly is) spectacular Sci Fi novel has yet to have been done proper justice in over half a century Maybe if Tom Cruise could become enamored a proper trilogy on the book might occur As he`d make an excellent -Infant - Alia Atreides Seriously they can create a worthy cinematic nod to J. R. R. Tolkien , but not Frank Herbert Bah

I would like to see Asimov's Foundation series turned into a series of films. I thought Emmerich unfortunately had bought the rights to these which turns one cold at the idea of his hand touching such science fiction classics.
I am sure given the scope of the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales that these too could be turned into an epic series but only by writers keenly aware of the chronology and events contained therein. |

Five years later, your wish for a Foundation TV serie has been granted George. From what I've heard, I dont even want to have a look at it even though the books are among my all time favorites.
Personnally, I'd love to watch Dan Simmons' Hyperion on screen. Hyperion is a sci-fi novel describing a futuristic universe where civilian spaceships dont exist but where people can jump from planet to planet thanks to dimensional bridges managed by AI's. In this universe is the planet Hyperion, home of the Time Tombs haunted by the Shrike, an invincible and invisible monster. In my memory, the book starts when seven pilgrims meet up in a military spaceship bound to Hyperion. They must explore the Time Tombs. During their trip, each one of them will tell his story. Such as Foundation, Hyperion develops a unique and extremely rich background universe and is a momument of sci-fi literacy. I'd love to see it on screen, it would be magical. But only if it sticks to the bloody book, I wouldnt want to see it rewritten for political correctness purposes. |

I would like them to remake Blakes 7 but use the original scripts not change the story/characters in any way.
