And it is only getting "better" under Devos. Just what they want mindless throngs to adore and throw money at them.

Since the tariffs he imposed will be held to be illegal (We haven't discussed that, but it will be amusing to see how his minions try to persuade the W.T.O. that Canada, Mexico, and the EU are a threat to U.S. security), the subsidies to protect "his" farmers will also be held illegal, and there will be a YUGE fine imposed on the U.S. after he is gone. Above I mentioned the federal tax arrangement in the U.S. About 70% of personal income taxes comes from the coastal states, which means the Orange Ogre expects us to pay all that. |

Isn't this how he conned banks into lending him money, bankruptcy after bankruptcy until only the Russians would "loan" him cash?

Did Sinclair broadcasting get conned too?
Sinclair Reporters Whine Trump's Endorsement 'Actually Hurts' Them by Acknowledging Company's Conservative Bias
Journalists with Sinclair were baffled by Trump's ineffective advocacy. July 25, 2018, 6:45 AM GMT President Donald Trump's attempt to support Sinclair Broadcasting Group spectacularly backfired as his partisan description of the organization harmed its public image. Trump lashed out at his own administration's FCC leadership for refusing to approve an acquisition plan that risked creating an illegal system of control over stations that should be divested from Sinclair Broadcasting. "So sad and unfair that the FCC wouldn't approve the Sinclair Broadcast merger with Tribune," Trump wrote in a Tuesday tweet. "This would have been a great and much needed Conservative voice for and of the People. Liberal Fake News NBC and Comcast gets approved, much bigger, but not Sinclair. Disgraceful!" Journalists with Sinclair were baffled by Trump's ineffective advocacy. "Trump's tweet actually hurts us — because of the conservative line," an unnamed Sinclair employee told CNN. Other journalists echoed this opinion to CNN. In an interesting twist, Fox News chief Rupert Murdoch benefits from the FCC decision, since Sinclair Broadcasting would have become a major competitor. I almost cancelled my subscription to Consumer Reports when I read in an issue that quite a few people at CR had bought MyPillow! (Half said it was crap, half liked it.) If you are working at CR you should wait for the review!!! I have wondered who the idiot...., excuse me, people are who would buy a pillow from a commercial with a sleazeball wearing an ostentatious cross. I think they are the same people who would believe Trump and his campaign BS. Not kidding here! I am a decades long subscriber to CR. I depend on reviews not infantile names for opponents to make my decisions. There are people out there that trust the MyPillow sleazebag, Mike Swindell. And there are people out there that trust Trump. Swindell scapegoated his pillow for his sleep problems and Trump used the same techniques of empty blame and hollow promises to hook people. No joke here: Trump had Mike MyPillow Swindell down to Maralago!!!! Narcissist sleazebags of a feather flock together. |
