Nicole SEGAUD

I was wondering if you had any idea where Nicole SEGAUD was now and what she was doing?
She is one of my favorites from BITD (Back In The Day) and it's really hard to find any of her stuff.
Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Actually, it's not hard at all to find her stuff. I've found more than 20 of her films and loops on line (including many on VEF), several magazine layouts, 3 issues of "Erotik" magazine and at least 6 issues of "Supersex" magazine (all of which have been posted on VEF). Be sure to search her under the name "Helen Shirley" or "Nicole Ginoux" as well, and search for the movies by their titles (listed on EGAFD) since she rarely has first billing.

Born in the mid 1950s (like Erika Cool and Brigitte Lahaie) she had been a fashion model in the early 1970s and then nude modelling and finally got into porn in 1979 because she was a single mother and needed extra money. In 1980 she married Richard Allan (who had just divorced from his first wife) and she appears in at least 1 film as "Shirley Allan". She quit porn about 1984 (and divorced Richard Allan) but still lives in Paris; in 2011 she attended the book-launch of his book of memoires there. Nicole Segaud was her real name but I have no idea if she uses that these days in "real" life. (Erika Cool recently published a memoir called "Update" in which she says she wishes she had never used her real name, since it has made things very difficult for her in later life--Cool currently works as manager of a real estate office in Belgium).

EGAFD lists Segaud in 75 films or loops (she's non always credited in the cast), not counting archive footage or remix compilations, plus a few non-sex or softcore appearances. Her last hardcore movie was in 1985, "Le Fruit défendu".

I didn't buy a copy of Richard Allan's book "8000 femmes" when it came out because I didn't realize it was a limited edition: it's out of print and copies on the secondary market cost over $150! Allan reprinted it last year with the title "Demon de Venus" but it was self-published and is already unfindable. So I can't say whether he talks about Nicole Segaud in it (I assume he would?). If any member of VEF has access to a copy maybe they can let us know what/if he says about her?
