So true on many levels.

Yet, if you meet the right Lady, it's kind of worth the hassle!

I've learned that women love it when their Man does something spontaneous and totally unexpected!

It can be anything... a date, flowers, candy, etc.

You'd get total points with your lovely mate if your gift is sent first thing in the morning to her place of work!

Oh, and if a woman asks you "What are We" she is secretly telling you that she likes you!

I learned a long time ago that it does not include coming back from the pub way too late because you unexpectedly was having a great time with your mates

That kind of thing tends to have a stainless steel spaghetti strainer hurled at ya

If a good friend tells you that look fat (especially male) when you're 20-30 and can't even keep up in a simple Sunday morning jog, listen to them and do something about it OR suffer the consequences down the line. Forewarned is forearmed.

Never judge a person by their appearance.
And remember this....Just because someone speaks with an accent, it doesn't mean they THINK with an accent.

Education...Education..Education

TRAVEL.

The US citizens are the least travelled people outside their country.
Even Russia has more people travelling and learning around the World.

In the 60's this was a norm.
US and Europe citizens everywhere, learning and becoming more tolerant to other cultures.

Now..it ain't the same.

My lesson learned is that 2 US guys I met surfing in the UK in the late 60s...are terrified to express their old "hippie" beliefs on email.
I got a link to a music slot about 5 years ago and we correspond on that ~ on a joint email that we read in draft like~~ cunning eh ?

That's what I learned. Citizens are scared.
Governments...everywhere ...have the upper hand.

Spend time being a good hubby and a great dad. It pays off down the track; and I'm pretty sure no one ever lay on their deathbed thinking, 'I wish I'd spent more time at the office.'
