I was getting that last night as well. It lasted for a few hours and seemed to have cleared up this morning.

Hello fellow VEF members.

A few minutes ago I was attempting to upload pictures for a post in The Wank Club. I tried a group of four photos, and they all uploaded to 100% but then were stuck at "processing". I tried to upload them several times and I'm still getting hung up at the processing phase.

Maybe just a temporary PimpAndHost glitch or technical issue.

Just a side note: sometimes this same issue can happen if you're trying to upload photos from an external hard drive or a USB drive. PimpAndHost apparently works better (or I should say most reliably) if you're uploading photos off of your internal drive in your PC tower.

That's not to say you CAN'T upload photos from external drives to PimpAndHost, but I have occasionally run into problems using external drives.

1 week ago - uploading is not working. it sticks in 100%

2 hours ago - You have fixed it.

But today it is again not possible to upload a picture. The upload remains to be in the "processing" mode. If you fix it: thanks again

ImageBam is unavailable about mid-day in UK (BST) on Tues 1st May. Message in diagnostics drill down is 'website is online but is not responding to connection attempts'.

The frustration is felt by all of us my friend...trust me.

As far as "connection severing" is concerned, if you had a count of just how many posts/images have been uploaded to our beloved board through that host, you'd see that it's easier said, than done.

It's only recently that they've become "hit or miss" so to speak, so methinks we need to give them the benefit of the doubt, and give them time to get their shit squared away.

Putting aside dead pics and problem servers IB isnt any better or worse than the rest
if you look over a decent size time period

Most of todays issues are well known and not all on the hosts side

Malware through 3rd party ads has undermined the hosts business model
as more and more of us use ad or script blockers or both

large pic sets (size and number) has led to increased use of download managers

Both rob the hosts of revenue to pay for the bandwidth so we get outages

Live webcam ads seem to be the main way these hosts are surviving
but again many use ad or script blockers because of them.

Its a vicious circle thats probably going to only get worse

postimage .org now cc said awhile back the ad-revenue model wasnt sustainable long term
The premium side they tried to get off the ground got killed off by the credit card company soon after it began....that was awhile back...seems to have disappeared from their site
