Shame that Naomie Harris missed out on the Oscar for her role in Moonlight which eventually won Best Picture(after that mix up with the envelopes). Whilst on The One Show last week she mentioned that Daniel Craig might still be playing James Bond. However, he is 48 and if he does want the role again he'd better hurry up and make his mind up because he is running out of time. I'd like to see him back personally for one more. We are getting impatient for the official start date of Bond 25 plus a title.

He's got until he is 57 to decide.

Here is an interesting snippet of trivia.
Did you know that during the filming of Skyfall in 2012 an Aston Martin DB5 is seen blowing up after being machine-gunned in a big explosion -apparently this was not the case and the car was a 3D printed model on top of a Porsche 928 which was of similar size and used in that sequence. Let's face it, only a sadist would think to destroy such an iconic and well-loved marque as an Aston-Martin!

Daniel Craig was shown sitting one down from Kenny Dalglish on Saturday as he watched and enjoyed the Liverpool v Everton game. AS he was born in Liverpool he is a supporter and likes to go to as many games as he can-but does that mean that at the moment he still hasn't made up his mind to play James Bond?

Some media muppet; a certain Mike 'Porky' Parry has been going nuts over DC having been seen singing YNWA at the derby match; claiming that JB shouldn't be seen to be supporting a real life football club; confusing reality & a movie character for sure. Even having other people pointing out several previous JB's having been seen wearing other team's kits, scarves, or just at games; he still won't let it lie... But then Porky is an Everton fan of course, so perhaps more than a little biased & upset for that one reason?

I read this morning that Elon Musk, the billionaire and space aficionado has in his collection of cars the James Bond Lotus Esprit car from The Spy Who Loved Me and he wants to convert it to actually work as a submarine underwater-the one he has more than likely was the shell used in the film. I would like to see that actually move and perhaps convert to a car afterwards. Let's face it he has the money.

Didn't the Top Gear guys do this already?

A quick search tells me they did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfOwSTXP-3o

Oh yes indeed he did but you will notice that the wheels are still out-in the film they fold up and inwards to be replaced by the hydroplanes, small propellers appear behind the car AND the steering wheel is replaced by a different steering mechanism. Elon Musk apparently owns the real thing - now that would be better to see it actually go deeper than Richard Hammond did in that clip.
