I did actually know this, I have an extensive list of every Bond girl that ever appeared in all the films including the last one-I turned over two pages so thanks for pointing that out to me.

It is a re-hash of "Thunderball" and is the result of a falling out between Broccoli/Saltzman and Kevin McClory who won a court case to use the story and keep the rights. Personally it is a dreadful comeback for Sean Connery who should have walked away FAST! from it. Most notable for Rowan Atkinson as Nigel Small-Fawcett and Algy(the Q character) who says to Bond "I'm glad your back Mr Bond, are we going to have some gratuitous sex and vilolence?"
To which Bond replies "I hope so Algy!" CRINGE!!!!!
For the ultimate Bond treat I highly recommend that you go to a search engine and look up "Never Say McClory Again". You'll find the most skillful fan edit I've ever seen. The editor restructured the whole film to make it look like a traditional James Bond production. All of the original music has been tossed out, rescored with music from other Bond films (with the all-important inclusion of the Monty Norman Bond theme). A gun barrel opening has been restored. The editor even made his own silhouette-style opening credits, set to the Shirley Bassey/Propellorheads tune "History Repeating".

My wife and I watched this last year, after which I turned to her and said, "Well, I might as well throw out my Never Say Never Again DVD, because from now on this is the only way I'm watching this film."

All the James Bond films have been showing twice a week on ITV1 & 4(Bond Week last week) and today's was "Diamonds Are Forever" which the reviewer put down in two words "lacks sparkle" I've been searching for this girl to add to my vast collection of Bond but its more a blink-and-you'll-miss-her moment in Maggie's case. I also did another check on IMDB(Internet Movie Database) and she is not mentioned in the entire cast list! See for yourself http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090264/fullcredits#cast
I am hoping to get some DVD versions of the films for Christmas and then I will be able to isolate a few scenes with Bond girls in them-the Party ones are the hardest to spot. Thanks again Red Rutan for these-a splendid addition to my collection.

You're welcome. The only other thing I know about Maggie's career is that she was the girl on a tropical island in one of the Bounty chocolate bar adverts before her Bond appearance, after which I think she retired from modelling/acting. She works in the same offices as me, and is still a (more mature) knockout.

I didn't see an explanation on the page. Can you clarify?
All of the content on that page is free. If you can access this page:

http://fanedit.info/TFj-n.html

All you have to do is go to the line for "JAMES BOND 007: NEVER SAY MCCLORY AGAIN BY BLOFELDS CAT" and look to the right side of the page. There is a link that says "NTSC". Click on that and a rar file will download. Open up the rar file and you see a file that is called:

blofeldscat_jamesbond_neverSMCA_NTSC_SL_DVD.dlc

Make sure that JDownloader is open and done updating, and then click on that file (or double-click; whatever your settings have you do to open a file). The .dlc file will automatically load into JDownloader, where you can then tell it to begin downloading.

That file is hosted on the Rapidshare site, so if you don't have a membership it will probably take an entire day to download (it is, after all, a full DVD file, not just a video). If you're premium, it doesn't take very long. I tested it the other day when I mentioned the link, and it's still working. As I said before, I'm not the person who put the file on the web.

I know it's a hassle to download the files this way, but you have to understand that Fanedit.info (where you find the links) and Fanedit.org (where you find the detailed information on the movies) aren't download sites. A lot of these movies (the above one included) are presented as full DVDs, complete with menus. There's no way a free site could host hundreds of files that are more than 4 Gigabytes each. That's why they just include the links to direct you to the proper file hosting locations.

I guess I should also mention that if you don't know how to load and burn a DVD file, it probably isn't worth downloading it. But learning isn't a big deal. Five years ago I had no idea how to handle such files, and now I can burn pretty much anything that I come across.

I don't usually do full-length postings of non-porn, in respect to some fellow colleagues of mine in the business. Since this is a fan edit, though... Besides, generosity has always been my greatest fault. That, and humility.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IR2N7S89

There it is, ripped from the iso file and converted to an mpg. Should be viewable on any computer (and can still be burned to a DVD).

[NOTE: Now a friend from another forum has informed me that because the file is larger than 1GB, only premium members of Megaupload can get to it. I KNEW I should have split it up and posted it with my Rapidshare account, but everyone's always complaining about Rapidshare, so I though "No, I'll be a nice guy." Well, that came back to bite me on the butt...]

Enjoy, anyone who is interested, and who can get the file.

You can join with hjsplit or other combining program.
PT,
Thanks for doing this. I'm new at the "joining" process and have not yet picked up a program for doing it.

From your 12-part posting I just obtained Part One (001) but can't view it by itself. When I try, I get a message that says the file is "not compressed or encoded." Does this mean I have to download all 12 segments before I can watch?

Yes, download all of the parts, then use a program called hjsplit to join the parts together. It's a free program. You can find it here:

http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#win32

I did a test download, and the program is still there. Just download it, install it, and then use it to join the files. After that, the reassembled movie should play just fine.

Thanks again. I have a Mac so I may have to look elsewhere for an appropriate joining program.

I found this: http://www.xs4all.nl/~loekjehe/Split&Concat/, but if someone has a better Mac-friendly joiner, please let me know.
