There was a good once at You tube but it was removed, if I spot it again I will post a link, however as I said earlier on somewhere else I am in the process of getting a new tape recorder and then I can record the version I have(from a german dubbed French programme called Indiskret Kamera) and then change it to an MP3 for download here.

A slow paced piece to strip by. Enjoy.

Major disaster!! I misread the instructions in my new tape recorder/player and managed to wipe virtually all of that tune I mentioned above(fwhich can be heard twice in 'Secrets of a Chambermaid')
I have literally 5-6 secs left, yeah I know what total plonker but it is better than nothing at all. I am gutted as I've had this recording for over twenty years and never found the original. Anyway I may just upload it here at some point albeit VERY brief.😞😡

Yes, I know its "The Stripper" AGAIN, but this was posted by a company that does audio processing. Its the classic DR version, not sure what they have done to it, but it does sound good

It sounds like they've run a FFT filter on it to enhance the bass -- Same trick I've used to bring out the drum beats on various pieces...

It might be by Luchi De Jesus, who is credited on IMDB as the composer of original music for that episode of "That Girl" (Cal of the Wild), but I am finding very little of his stuff on the web.

Not been able to find a great deal on this one. Seems that a lot of tracks were recorded specifically for use in the episode they aired in, and were then either archived or lost. That's the trouble with incidental music! Case in point is the version of The Stripper used during the Morcombe and Wise sketch, it's totally different to any others I've heard, but I can't seem to find out who the band were.

Here's another university orchestra having a go at "The Stripper". This time The University of York, with a gutsy rendition of the Bob Lowden arrangement.

Here's the West Bergholt Concert Band with the same (slightly out of) tune...

...and for completion here's the Houston Pride band making a bit of a hash of the same tune. Better drum break in the middle, though

Looks interesting, although it's a shame it's more about modern music than traditional. But there are some absolute classics in there too, which is good. Will be worth a listen I'm sure
