It is not that hard to find. You just have to look outside the box.
Do you have links for the media debates and coverage too? I mean for the other candidates, not Putin? The leaders debates on National Television. The daily campaign updates for each leading party? You know the stuff!

Vegetarianism enjoyed some popularity in pre-revolutionary Russia. The great Russian writer Leo Tolstoy had a lot of supporters in the country. An important part of Tolstoy's philosophy was to stop eating meat and any violence against animals. Similar ideas were held by the famous writer Nikolai Leskov. From meat refused and many unofficial Christian groups. In the Soviet era, the authorities pursued vegetarians and almost completely defeated them. After the fall of the USSR, Russia has been a revival of vegetarianism, the vegetarian group is almost in the whole of Russia. Sometimes vegetarianism / veganism is part of the political ideology of the right and left youth groups.

A few words about the russian elections. The necessary result is made by state employees (doctors, teachers, military and others) who vote at the direction of their superiors. As a rule, they move organized groups from one polling station to another, voting on each with special coupons. It's called a "carousel". If that's not enough, the stuffing is in the urn brazenly catches the stack of completed ballots. It happens that the votes of people who did not come to the elections, recorded in favor of the candidate from the current government. Candidates for the post of President in the elections is the extras, no more.

You're hilarious, Rupert!

You have a hereditary monarch, an unelected HoL, and FPTP for your parliament, where more than half the votes don't count. And you still delude yourselves you're "democratic"

You may dislike us, but 76% voted for Putin, and only about 40% voted for your government

Please re-consider your notions of democracy, and post again when you have something democratic to say

It will thrill us

Why Russian people do not vote for Communist candidate anymore?
Does the population dislike that much the Communism?

Yesterday I listened at the Swiss radio a very interesting report of a Swiss newspaper founder and journalist: Eric Hoesli, who spent several years of his life in Siberia. He wrote a book of 800 pages about this.
He explained that at the difference of the American colonization, that destroyed the diversity of cultures in America, the Siberian one preserved the diversity of populations. According to him more than 200 different cultures still exists in Siberia.

At the end of the report, the female interviewer asked him several questions about the today politics in Russia.

He said: "Here we look at the Russian democracy as very authoritarian, but you have to understand that the Russian people disliked what happened in their country when the "iron curtain" fell. It fell in really bad hands."

They got tired of empty store shelves and getting sent to the gulag when they complained about it.
