She also goes the Emma Peel catsuit route in about a half-dozen episodes of Doctor Who, "The Daleks Master Plan" though only two episodes featuring her survive and have been released to DVD. There are photos of her out there, though. And let's not forget her "love doll" look in the 1959 Twilight Zone episode, "The Lonely"...

Thanks for mentioning this Twilight Zone episode that I didn't know about. I watched this after I saw your post. Does anybody know where I can buy a robot like that?

Could it be Moira Brooker? If so the comedy series is 'As time goes by' (also with Judi Dench,Geoffrey Palmer and Jenny Funnel). The play would be from a series of one-off plays called 'Ghosts', this one's title called 'Blood and Water'.

There was a couple of girls playing sisters in an ITV sitcom starring Patrick Cargill called 'Father Dear Father', the sisters were Natasha Pyne and Ann Holloway.

The movie was actually made in 1970 but not released until the following year. The DVD version will be digitally enhanced and HD apparently. Once I know more, I will post an update here.
This is good news. I have seen TV broadcasts of excellent quality but I only ever recorded clips. Taping clips was a full-time passion so full length movies fell by the wayside.

'Blood & Water' had a WW2 setting, so that wasn't it.

Still, here's the B&W clip (hat tip to haldane4)

I think the lady you are looking for is Sabina Franklyn daughter of William. She appeared in the later series of "Keep it in the Family" (81-83) as one sister, taking over the role from Jenny Quayle, daughter of Anthony. Her sister in the series was played by Stacy Dorning, daughter of Robert.
She also appeared in Byron: A Personal Tour (1981). So your memory isn't as bad as you thought.

If we talking about the same actress. I think Sabina Franklyn also turned up in an episode of Fawlty Towers. I think it was the hotel inspector episode. She played girlfriend to a posh bloke who threatens faulty with a "bunch of fives".

You are right about Sabina appearing in an episode of "Fawlty Towers it was the episode titled "Basil the Rat".

Here is the only pic I have of Sabina, together with Stacy Dorning.

Enjoy

There you go, not my OP of course so credit to 'reading67' whose post is at #1934 on this thread; a re-up of German actress Franziska Walser exposing her considerable bush on stage as TX'd on ZDF. This is the German version of ace word-smith Will Shakespeare's work "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
