Nudity edited out of TV shows

It happens to loads of stuff on UK Satellite channels. The problem is, they`ve decided to show things that were originally shown after the watershed (9pm) at all times of the day. The shows are edited to suit then shown, so it doesn`t matter whether you are watching at 9am or 9pm, the nudity will be cut. You have Minder, The Sweeney and The Camomille Lawn that easily spring to mind, then you have the classic films like Up Pompeii and the Carry on films that have known nudity in them that magically dissapear. I even saw a re-run of an old Bless This House, where a character removes her bra to give a little side boob shot (no nipple). Her whole chest area was pixelled out.
Other Channels don`t seem to bother, I`ve seen films on TCM that contain no more nudity than in some cut TV shows, shown in full. Think it just depends on which bible basher is in charge of that channels regs I suppose.
