I was surprised there was no Robin Byrd thread on this board. It's one of the more famous cable access shows, but that may well be a World's Tallest Midget accomplishment.

Here are the interview/music segments from the previously clipped eps. Robin's ditzy den mother persona makes a fun atmosphere, the callers can be hilarious, and seeing the girls in a relaxed talk show setting is kind of sexy.

Here's something a friend sent me years ago from a probably defunct magazine, STRIPPER, circa 1994 or 1995. It's an ad for the Robin Byrd Show with a list of many of the adult film stars, big bust centerfolds, & Playboy and Penthouse gals who appeared on the show.

That's quite a list - I remember seeing a few of these back in the day. I don't think Robin has more than a few edited episodes still in circulation but if anything else good comes up I'll try to post it here.

Late 1990's/early 2000's the show was airing 4-5 times a week and they would show pretty good variety, or so I was told by friends who lived in Manhattan and still watched.

So if she showed 200 shows in a year, there might be a bunch of reruns, but I'll bet you saw at least 40-60 different episodes of the show. Maybe it's changed since.

I don't know why she doesn't sell the shows through her website, I bet she'd make a fortune. I know I'd buy a few and my poker pals would definitely want some of the girls they met at clubs and on tour, etc.

I'm guessing it was way back in 1993 when i was living in London. One one of the 'adult' channels on cable one Saturday night/Sunday morning there was a 1 hour program called "Centerfold Screen Test".

On this particular show, they were getting models to do a striptease. Two of them were Cameo and Kristina King. (there were between 6 and 9 girls, as I remember).

I KNOW that there are two other videos out there names Centerfold Screen Test and this is NOT the same (I know, I bought both of them and was VERY disappointed). These were 'classic' stripteases, where there were wearing bra, panties, stocking and suspender belts.

I had it on VHS, but back in 2000, when I moved, it disappeared in transit.

This one was HOT guys, and so any help you can offer in helping to track it down would be appreciated.

Some of the girls had very sexy music and great costumes. They were sexy, even if they didn't completely show their tops, let alone their bottoms.

OTOH, there were some girls who just appeared totally nude or got there within 10 seconds and they left NOTHING to the imagination. Bad costume (no costume !), lousy music, not erotic at all.

When the new generation of strip clubs came into being in the 1990's and 2000's, alot of women spent big $$$ on both costumes, clothes, props, etc. The Robin Byrd Shows they were on were the best ones to see, IMO. Most of these girls were feature dancers rather than adult film stars. The dancers know that both appearance fees and tips were determined by audience enthusiasm for being sexy, erotic, and inventive on stage. Some girls needed special RV's or trailers to take all their props and clothes going from appearance to appearance.

You needed that stuff to stand out. Let's face it, you've seen one set of big breasts, you've seen 'em all.

Actually, considering all the other shows that folks have on VHS tape in the last 20 years, it's SHOCKING that nobody has a bunch of the episodes on tape.

Only thing I can think of is that most people who tape or digitally record shows are teens and young people in their early-20's and maybe the audience for TRBS is alot older (40's ?).

No websites, fan groups, etc, on the web. Very strange.

Robin Byrd does actually have her own website and there are 5 female dancer videos that rotate weekly. Unfortunately the clips are not very good quality and some of them end just before the girl takes her clothes off and a few are even mosaiced. I hope someone out there has some VHS tapes that they can rip!
