Pics vs. Vids - Page 2

For some things video is better, for others still images. I agree with a lot of what Leprechaun says about digital space requirements and letting my own imagination run rampant plus I'm of the mindset that if I want the video, I'll buy the DVD. So for the most part I prefer still images but its not an absolute "one or the other" situation.

I love videos, but with pics, they take more time with getting the perfect pose. The shirt and panties pic thread is awesome because of the poses and even better if they could catch the poses on video

Overall I think pictures hold the illusion of fantasy together far better than video

You can get away with an east end model as a posh wife in a picture set but you cant say the same of video when you hear her speak

In a similar way to a hardcore picture set leaves the illusion of a sexual encounter having occured but when you watch the accompanying video to the shoot you see its all a put on....game over

I've often heard photographers boast that they can take very ordinary models and make them desirable...not sure you can really do that kind of subterfuge as well on video

In the end Quality content from either side will work its magic

True, vids can be much more stimulating, but for sheer erotic beauty, pics tend to win. On the 'Net, the old movies often suffer from quality problems owing to the original source, the speed of your processor, or the sight from which they are hosted. I notice sites tend to gather hordes of vintage vids and then charge through the nose to watch them.

As for the new videos, the consensus on them on VEF is pretty well settled.

I agree with Leopards00 and Night Haunter above that pics allow you to use your imagination better, so if I really had to choose, it would be pics.

I tend to look at pics more than videos (though sometimes I am just in the mood for a favouite video).

Pics always leave a little to the imagination, just dreaming of that little more reveal, or further intimacy in a shot whereas vids take away the need for imagination.

I prefer pics to video. I concur pics lend themselves more to fantasy with the model. Personally, I find most porn video boring and tedious to watch in entirety. I just don't get into watching sex scenes for 45, 60, 90 minutes or more. The repetition gets to me. But, seek out and enjoy the artistry of different photographic styles and of course different women in pictures, that I can do for hours.

I will on occasion search out a video based on a model's pictures to see her in some action to enhance a personal fantasy but I still can't really watch entire scenes or movies with her.

So to recap, I prefer pics much more with occasional dabbling in video.

Pics are much better in terms of encouraging fantasising, and as such are mostly my preference. But if I want to finish quickly, a good video might do the job best.
