* to those of you not resident in NZ or Oz, Bunnings is a hardware chain akin to Home Depot or B&Q-with an exceptionally comprehensive product range-the go to place for anything from a bag of cement, to a tap washer or patio lights... |

From what I've read, it seems to be same thing with Bunnings in the UK. Australian marketing gurus who know nothing about the UK market. Over here Bunnings squeezed Mitre 10 almost out of business and these days they mostly service the tradie market. The must be doing okay, because their stores are still about if reduced in number. Yeah I do, and I'd love to get one and use it on my managements heads .... wasted my day yesterday
What annoys me .... at work meetings when they use the words "Moving Forward" , and they still haven't resolved old problems that have been there for ages and they when they say "Moving Forward" all they do is create new ones that will go unresolved

What annoys me the most ?
Courts and piss weak sentences These 2, one a cow and the other a sow Amanda Warren, 33, and Caris Underwood, 22 Both avoided a prison sentence for bashing a paramedic working while they were drunk https://www.theage.com.au/national/v...15-p4zff7.html Attacking any emergency service worker here has a mandatory prison sentence Guess this world is just fucked

Tenants are another brood who have all the rights and which the laws work in their favor. Even after being served eviction papers for violating items in the Terms of Agreement lease or are behind months on the rent its still next to impossible to get them out and the courts are slow as molasses in acting -- and if the tenant has children forget about it its even worse!

If you are posting that because you have such a case I highly recommend hiring a property manager. Mine is great in such a case. They have all the connections for any thing that comes up including lawyers and law enforcement. Not sure where you live Cuzz but after an eviction they turn any arrears over to a bill collector. I know XYZ---- would think that is horrible but it is an unfortunate fact of life. |
