The commentator Markus Meechan AKA 'Count Dankula' made a video last year on Youtube ( M8 yer dugs a nazi ) in which he teaches his girlfriends Pug the Nazi salute . In the video , which has not been removed and has over two million views , he makes it quite clear that he is only doing so to annoy her.

Later this month he will stand trial at the High Court in Edinburgh for ' hate crime ' for making that video .

I notice that the Nazi salute is mildly offensive in middle school, more offensive in high school, and utterly illegal in Germany. The last point I have deduced from their anti-Nazi laws that have not only made neo-Nazi activities against the law, but anyone who shows the flag of the Third Reich or gives the Sieg Heil in public, automatically gets a year in prison for breach of the public order.

Some of the former Soviet Bloc nations have similar penalties for displaying the Soviet flag or the sickle-and-hammer of the extreme left... Wonder if Rage Against The Machine would have been welcome in their countries?!
