I once suggested 'Nothing' as a band name.
Needless to say it was rejected. I could just see the advert in the local paper, hence, nobody came.

Many years ago i bought a copy of Joseph Heller's "Something Happened" and left it in the glove box of the taxicab i shared with a day shift driver. He later told me he read it also. It wasn't an easy read, although getting constantly interupted didn't help. The real kicker, on which we both agreed [Spoiler Alert] is that Nothing happened?

I have no recollection at of the story at all

Hmm, I just noticed something

This thread was meant to be about nothing in general, so off topic posts should be non existent. Umm, 2 of the kings of off topic posts in this section of the forum have so far not posted anything in it, zilch, nothing

I find that kind of hilarious

Am I the only person in the world who has noticed that there is no such thing as 'nothing'. Break it down: no thing. How can that ACTUALLY exist other than as an idea looking for a meaning (& failing)?

Who are the kings? How will we know when they post?

Any odd or off topic post will seem like a normal post in this thread.
I'm off to sit on the sofa and do nothing for the rest of the afternoon.

Years ago, I remember reading about a guy who posted an ad saying, "Send me $5.00 and I will send you nothing." He got a huge response and the government was going after him for fraud when it was revealed that he was sending everyone he got the 5 bucks from a bumper sticker saying "Nothing."
