Yes they are that large. not photo shopped. and for something of that size they only eat krill and plankton, but tons of it. Blue Whales are balleen whales. Which means they do not have teeth.

I've never really understood trainspotting, or even taken a long train journey, but after watching a little of this on free to air with no dialogue, no soundtrack other than actual audio, I may have to make time to find time.

Or watch the whole thing next time it's repeated on t.v. (as it is currently). I'm finding it oddly mediative.
