EU referendum: France issues border checks warning to UK
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politic...endum-35712463

More scaremongering from our shoulder shrugging Gallic neighours, meanwhile Emmanuel Microbe I offer you this

Of course any such move would mean an instant and decisive response from our Government and within the first year they could form a committee to discuss it and then promptly adjourn for the summer break

North Korea 'fires missiles' into sea hours after UN vote
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-35713977

Despicable !!! Thousands of fish died in that unprovoked temper tantrum, their orphans are now swimming towards what they believe is sanctuary in China not knowing they are heading into Kim's mad Father's spiritual homeland
The UNHCR will not act on this piscatarian crisis. Already Spanish fishing vessels are reportedly heading there with their illegal nets to reap the harvest.

I sense a disaster of Lilliputian proportions looming.

Nope I didn't know that but to be honest I never really went that way until that building was put up so I didn't know the area, although my Dad took me once to the RAF Hendon Aircraft Museum (now moved to a new place) where they had a flying simulator and I was really excited to have a go, but on the day we went it wasn't working-as Bob Monkhouse once said "picture my dismay!" I really miss the Brent Cross fountain(as seen on BBC London News yesterday archive footage), it was nice and cool on a warm day to sit there and the sound of the water was soothing.

Last night in my dreams my wife was nagging me to shave and get a haircut !!

I reckon it's stuff the doctor prescribed that's causing all these recent nightmares.

I'm going along to Tesco to buy razors right now.

Big Grin Hey , bathing helps reach the parts a shower or colonic irrigation with bleach seldom touches.

Most noticeable today-me being told that I have Asteroid Hyalosis in BOTH eyes. Beforehand it was just in the right eye, but now it appears to be in the left one as well. It is nothing to worry about just a rare occurence in some people. My actual distance eyesight(for someone of my age) is perfect, in fact he actually said WOW! when I managed to read all lines of letters. I only need glasses for reading and sitting at the computer screen. I next have a check up in July, but that is an ordinary eye check not the digital retinopathy which you get if you have diabetes, and that is ONCE a year.

Johnsons were a major player in the photographic business until the early 70s when the economy took a downturn and they ran ito problems. Not sure if any part of their company still exists.

I grew up in North London (live out in East Anglia these days) and know the area around Hendon well. The RAF Museum at Hendon is an excellent place to visit and spend a morning or afternoon looking at the exhibits. Not much else of note to the area. The BeeGees once lived in Hendon, Scott Walker, the singer may still do and it's had a fair number of well know residents, especially up towards Arkley.

Other claims to fame : Shane Rimmer(Thunderbirds, Batman etc) lived around Barnet. Maureen Lipman lives or lived in Muswell Hill and at one point the Spice Girls and One Direction had flats in the once notorious Halliwick Hospital, now Princes Park Manor. Good museum in Barnet which chronicles the story of the Battle of Barnet 1471 as part of the Wars of the Roses would you believe. You would remember Grahame Park area then, what a dump that used to be, now it has changed a lot.

Once again China's retarded and lovably immature love child makes the news for all the wrong reasons

North Korean leader urges nuclear readiness
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-35723070

"He told military leaders North Korea would revise its military posture to be ready to launch pre-emptive strikes, the Korean Central News Agency said."

I wouldn't miss a heartbeat if someone took the wild haired moron out and shot him, I fear he's that deranged he may try and provoke a war out of spite and it's doubtful anyone in his fantasy land has the courage to take him over their knees and smack his arse
