Whenever I talk about my favorite Australian animal "the quokka" Estreeter
goes nuts and says that if he had one he would bring it to the butcher shop and have it skinned and cut up so he could have it barbecued. This is just a smokescreen to divert people from the actual truth. Several years ago Estreeter and some of his golf mates secretly rented a sailboat and sailed from the Melbourne port to Rottnest Island, and managed to steal several quokkas. At that time there were a lot of these cute and furry critters which would wander all over the island. Now most of them are in these protected enclosures. They sailed back to Melbourne and Estreeter made an enclosure near his house in Geelong. He uses it as a petting zoo for the local kids, and charges their parents for this privilege. Estreeter gets away with this by paying off some local officials. He needs money just like everyone. Estreeter mainly uses the extra money to buy single malt scotches, and allows himself to go to his favorite pizza restaurant more often.
