Do you trust the NASA ?

Here are maps about the temperatures on the Earth since the January 2018 compared to 1951 to 1980 temperatures.

And this one compares the temperatures from 2017 to 2000 to the temperatures from 1970 to 1979

The diagnosis is... warmer.

Oh crikey yeah
The red and yellows look a bit different in some of them.

The poor employees of nasa on a day like this knowing what they know.
Huddled round a candle to keep warm.
Just an apple and a stick of celery to eat.

Not for them the opulence of the 21st century living.
No gas guzzling cars.
No foreign holidays on jet aircrafts.

No sending rockets into space with all the fuel that uses....
Ermmm

So I get up after a night shift and there's two foot of snow outside the house.

I wish I could turn my cock back. Damn thing rarely gets hard anymore.

Global warming is a bit of a misnomer for massive climate change, more frequent and violent storms, droughts, rising sea levels, irregular weather patterns and disruptions of seasons. We are after all talking of average overall temperature changes of only a few degrees. It is hard to believe that the rise portends such drastic changes to the environment that has favored the proliferation of our species.

I think they have plans to generate Solar power and sell that on.

After all in the UK we will need heck a lot of electricity to charge our cars.

There are no supertankers that can carry electricity.

And you'll lose a lot of watts across 3500 miles of transmission lines.

And how much fossil fuel energy will be expended smelting the metals for that huge transmission infrastructure?

In the Old Testament, you'll read of the "Cedars of Lebanon" -- these were mostly gone in ancient times. A small patch remains.

There is surprisingly a lot of reforestation already. Many areas of the Eastern United States which were clearcut and farmed have returned to forest cover. They're second growth, but if you were in, say, Ithaca, New York in 1850, you'd have seen much less forest than you do today.
Much of the oak and elm wood used by Nelson's navy came from the New Forest, where plantations of suitable trees were planted for ship building from Tudor times onward. Britain is also slowly increasing its tree cover, for example with the national forest project.

Still a few of the cedars of Lebanon left-(the area is a national park)-and of course they feature on the flag of Lebanon-as iconic an image as the Canadian mapleleaf
