The Band's 'Last Waltz' is, easily, the best rock movie ever (IMHO), but,for a music film, I would include Rogers and Hammerstein's 'Carousel', old romantic that I am!

That is superb. One of my favourite bits is the clip of Dee Dee Ramone's ill-advised rap video as Dee Dee King - hilarious! What on earth was he thinking?!

Much more a documentary than a film, but I love it as it was one of the best best produced of it's type I've seen along with great music. Good thread idea keef
