I am well on the mend today (see last Friday's post re being sick); been left with a nagging post viral cough though; apparently the theobromine in dark chocolate can supress it; so i spent the afternoon looking at the black women in white stockings thread (: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t27...gs-merged.html

Will continue watching the World Athletics Champs this weekend and finish my bottle of teachers HC. There will be more tasty chocolate on show there.

Having a BBQ with friends & family today, one of 'em opened a nice bottle of Whiskey from Japan. Delicate and hot in mouth as usual with Togouchi. I frankly recommend it 'cause it's great to drink as an appetizer.

Kasztelan from Poland. It has no taste at all. Polish beer is usually good but I obviously got the wrong one.

Today's drink is from Poland: Okocim Palone which is so dark upon pouring it looks like polished dark wood and produces a fizzy white head. Alcohol content 5.5%. Tastes of roasted coffee, caramel, dark raisins, plums and dark bread. Good overall.

Now I`m not one to complain as you know

Only ended up getting eight 500ml Stella`s from the Spar shop way down yonder.
Where they`re charging a fiver and 25 for four , and those were the cheapest !.
What a jip. If I'd walked to near the train station I could have picked up full pint Stella`s for a lower price.
That is a hell of a walk however and this morning was a hell of a hot one.
Sheesh eight 500mls for a tenner and fifty

But then the Spar is selling Starbars for 84p , each

That`s 20p more than anywhere else I've seen.
Damn what an overpriced place. Was so taken aback didn't even think to take snaps. If I`m round that neck of the woods again I`ll pop in and take some. Won't be buying anything though.

On the stomp return to V.E.F towers the universe spoke to me

In a "You should be drinking something else , and you know it " type manner

Max, Why don't you buy your beer online? Then you could get a whole truckful of Stella Artois sent to your door for less than 1/3 the price at you local offy!
