"play" well together. I'm not sure why, but the folks at JD, are always lagging behind when doing updates for Filefactory. Alot of people complain about Filefactory not working very well with JDownloader, but the truth is the opposite of that. JDownloader doesn't work very well with FF. It's JD's responsibility to figure out FF's codes and such, not the other way around. The only download manager that FF suggests using, as far as I know, is the FireFox add on, "Downthemall". Which makes perfect sense, since FF also suggests using Firefox as one's browser as well. Hmmm......wonder if Mozilla has a bunch of FF stock or something lol. |

In all honesty, you pay for what you get. If you don't pay, then you don't deserve to throw your toys out of the pram if you don't get. We all want something for nothing, but if we want a particular something badly enough, like everything else in life, you have to be prepared to dip into your pocket..... There is no free entitlement in this world.....

I think BBN has hit the nail on the head when he mentioned the disabling of scripts and such in browsers. For example when I download from ******** I don't see the puzzle captcha at first, I have to slightly lower my addblock settings in Firefox for it to appear. I suspect that is all that's happening with the Filefactory problems, try temporarily lowering your addblock, or noscript, or whatever addon you use in your browser of choice on the FF download page and see if it makes a difference.

If I remember correctly only the 30 day subscription is an automatic renewal, the others are not.

not only File Hosts. As far as the difficulty in ending a premium subscription, I'd say that you're already a step ahead of the game, just knowing about the need to specifically contact them to do that. Knowing that ya even will need to do that or keep on getting charged is the key. It's nothing like getting rid of AOL lol. Now THAT is a horror story lol. I believe that hour and a half call to them to end their internet service may have scarred me for life! lol If you need more info on ending a recycling premium subscription though, this page will point you in the right direction...... http://help.filefactory.com/support/...matic-billing- |

Sorry about this, but I just won't trust any of these outfits with unilateral renewal. They wouldn't do it this way if they weren't eager to squeeze an extra month's fee out of an unwary or sluggish customer. When I could use PayPal, at least I controlled the pipeline.

Never happened with me. I have a long subscription with FF, had years with RS and a month with RG. No problems cancelling anything.

I'll admit that I could be wrong, but I still don't like the automatic renewal.
