DC Comics Announces Batman & Catwoman's Wedding Date

The biggest wedding the DC Universe has seen since Superman and Lois Lane tied the knot in 1996 will take place in Batman #50. Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle will walk down the aisle Wednesday, July 4, though it being a superhero wedding, there will be some complications.

Before Gotham City’s costumed power couple makes things official, Batman’s main nemesis, The Joker, will learn about the pair’s planned nuptials. A story in the DC Nation one-shot, written by Tom King and illustrated by Clay Mann, will reveal what happens when the Clown Prince of Crime learns the Dark Knight and the DCU’s most skilled cat burglar are set to be married.

The one-shot will also feature a preview of the upcoming Justice League; No Justice event series by writers Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson and artist Jorge Jiménez, as well as a story from Brian Michael Bendis and comics legend José Luis García-López leading into the Man of Steel miniseries set to shake up Superman’s icon’s status quo.

DC Nation #0 is scheduled for release on May 2, three days before the comic book industry’s annual Free Comic Book Day, and it’s about as close to free as you can get while parting with some pocket change — 25 cents in print, free as a digital download.

Quite a while back I was watching Beetlejuice on TV late one night and I started to think to myself:

Beetle juice came out round about the same time has Micheal Keaton did Batman (87 and 89), and seeing how he played both characters I began to wonder what it would be like if he-has an actor-tried swapping their personalities around.

To put it simply-imagine the movie Batman but with Beetlejuice's voice and obnoxious personality.

Doesn't that seem weird when you visualize it?
