Craphouse politicians ( on all sides for a change ) who say this is the new normal .

That's because they're not going to change their stance or admit they're wrong on mass immigration or multi culturalism .

They're just going to plough on .

So seeing your daughter or niece off to a pop concert might mean she'll come back in a box or having a few jars in a town centre might mean you'll end up with your throat slit is the new normal.
my arse .

Give it ten years or so and far right parties will be playing a big part in British politics .
They'll make ukip seem like the greens .

Unless our politicians can admit they've been wrong .
Don't hold your breath

Ten? I don't see this country accepting these attacks as the "norm".
And those politicians droning on how the UK can take it, are missing the point.
Whatever benefits this country expects from Brexit will go up in smoke if tourists and businesses decides to give this country a wide berth due to "the new normal."

Rupert, how do you identify ALL of a suspect's electronic communications? I understand how you feel and sympathize with your position but I mean that as a serious question. Based on what we're hearing leaking from our own intelligence agencies in the US its apparently easier to just read everything and then sort out what you want rather than to pull from specific sources and you may not know of all the sources from non-electronic means.

So far elint has been used against terrorist organizations not to find out what they are saying but WHO they are talking to, mapping the network of communications. The only way to do that is to treat anyone who communicates with an existing suspect as another suspect. As the US government's attempts at oversight have discovered, the only way to find out if you should or should not listen in on someone is to listen in on them.

The simple answer to this is I do not know! I am not knowledgeable enough on this subject to know the technical stuff. What I understand is that there is the ability to identify individuals and to monitor their communications, of course anyone communicating with them would be of interest and would naturally be a suspect too. Until proven otherwise.

On Thursday we go to the polls, I already voted, via postal vote, I am convinced that Mrs May will not be Prime Minister on Friday Morning! Somehow they have turned a massive lead into a defeat. The campaign has been so useless that it reminds me of a 80s comedy, 'The New Statesman@. Where the lead character Alan Bastard, was appointed to lead the campaign, with the over rider that things were so bad, they would let Labour win, and take all the flak.

They have failed to attack Labour on anything that really matters, personal attacks on Corbyn, instead of attacking the last Labour Governments record.PATHETIC! The smelly bundle, who is now four, and less smelly, would have done a far better job, and it would have been more fun too!

Everything is possible. Personally I think she will limp over the line - but it will be a humiliating victory (if there can be such a thing) which falls well short of the overwhelming landslide/mandate she was seeking with such hubris.

Just shows how divided the country is at the moment. It still coheres as an entity...just. But everyone has a differing version of where to go from here.

Not sure that would be really relevant, Corbyn was far more opposed to Blair's Gov't than the Tories, especially on foreign policy.

How many of Blair's Gov't or even Brown's are in Corbyn's shadow cabinet?

Get ready for a new May humdinger of a soundbite on Friday -
