AdBlock Plus not working.

After a member here recommended Adblock Plus I installed it and was really pleased with it. It stopped 99.9% of pop ups. But now it fails to stop anything. Is anyone else having the same problem?

It's working fine for me

Have you right clicked on it & checked the Options?

Working fine for me also. Wondering if you, or some wayward website, somehow turned it off.

Remove it, go onto the Mozilla website and reinstall.

you turned it off. find the red stop sign with white "ABP" on your toolbar. click it > choose "enable everywhere"

I think you're describing the NoScript icon here. The AdBlockPlus icon is a red circle with capital ABP at its center and a small black down arrow to its right.

You are absolutely correct. ABP is the red stop sign with white "ABP" on it. pretty much the same thing tho. Just make sure to check "enable everywhere". While youre in there, make sure to update your easylist file in filter subscriptions.

Thanks to all those that made suggestions. In the end a simple uninstall/reinstall seems to have worked. I HATE ILIVID. Parasitic scumbags.
