Well, I'm old enough that the first vintage I saw wasn't vintage at the time. In college(1976), the guy in the next dorm room had a projector and some 8mm loops. One was a John Holmes loop. Also the student union showed "Deep Throat" in the main auditorium for one their monthly film showings. Try doing that nowadays!
