I was collecting materials for an actress who has been ignored on VEF, save for this post by now sadly Blocked! Member Chromax (who has made such valuable contributions through the years), where she was listed among several others in the 1997 film Busted. (I'm now seeing the initial post on this "Busted" thread — by Banned! Member "Bigbobnobody" — offered higher quality, but that was over a dozen years ago and the links are now equally busted. To be more precise, the second "RAR" link has died, rendering the rest as useless.) So I downloaded to collect the frames for the actress I was focusing on (named Mariana Morgan), and as I was going through the film, this magnificent creature came on the screen:



Of course, I recognized her instantly. Yet what surprised me was how beautiful she looked. It's not that I didn't earlier think Julie was sensational in appearance, but sometimes I've felt (and I am referring to her face, because there is nothing of the following with the rest of her) that she had a "mannish" quality. (The key word was sometimes, don't forget; not always.) Yet here... she was all girl.



This film has a painfully juvenile screenplay, or as Bigbobnobody noted, "a script that mighta been written by a 12 years old." (To give you an idea of the level of "humor," in this very scene, where Julie bursts in on the police station to report a peeping tom — she was taking a shower, the reason why she was clad only in a towel, not that anyone would have a problem with that — and director/star Corey Feldman showed her a "police sketch" of a stick figure, and Julie enthusiastically exclaimed, "That's him! Exactly.") Yet there was a gag (not that it was the kind of gag where anyone cared about the comedy) no one could argue with, and that was when Julie kept dropping her towel.



The view from behind, when she bent down to pick up the dropped towel, resembled manna from heaven, in a manna of speaking. Julie Strain was absolutely gorgeous, and I only wish these images would have been sharper.



Not incidentally, it wasn't just her looks. She managed to pull off a professional performance in this silly scene. In other words, what gets lost in the mix is that the lady had genuine acting ability, as well. Yet if we may return to the primary reason for why she attained her success, we truly owe her a debt of gratitude for her willingness to share such exceptional beauty in a bare state, the many times she did.




I later noticed I hadn't broken new ground on this thread, since Member "Sigurdarson" had covered some Busted ground in his 2013 post; yet it seems a few of those images could be on the way out, and the remaining ones were not treated for clarity, so I'm thinking it was time for a refresher.
