Let‘s hope it will be out on Blu-Ray some day. Should look good since it was shot at film.

A lot of her stuff has been been very high Quality for its time. Hans Mosers seem to spare no expense on SLY. It def would be easy to convert to Blu Ray Beautifully, if only someone would do it. I would pay money for a Blu ray copy.

Trademark rights SLY
@Zeeg
Apparently, neither Sarah nor Hans Moser nor his family, if they exist, ever owned the trademark SLY and the products we had so much fun with in the nineties. The Register office's records tell a completely different story than the one we thought was true: the pictures Moser published were economically exploited on a contractual basis with Sarah and a Ms. Stephanie Cooper as the films and pictures had all been marketed under the SLY trademark owned by Cooper. Furthermore, the trademark »Moservision« also had to be used by Moser by agreement and on behalf of Ms. Cooper, as the registers tells us that Cooper also owned the TM Moservision. So it was them, Cooper and her subsidiary, not Moser who spend money on the marketing and production. Moser had none to spend anymore. It turns that Moser's successor for VTO and Ms. Orlowski, Gérard Hauser, has always stated was totally correct: Hans Moser was a four-time bankrupt business man acting as a formally penny-less employee at VTO and later moved on to Moservision after Orlowski had ditched him. He transferred his business to the Baleares to be run and owned by other people, so to avoid him to be obliged to renumerate his creditors for his failed past operations. Moser once stated in an interview that this was his obvious and only choice: at that time it was possible to open a business in Spain without paying corporate taxes for the first two years. He was and must have remained to his ears in debt. Otherwise, no one would have ever thought of giving away the cash cow of the business, that would have been Sarah's efforts, and adding your wife's "stage" name as a present to people who did not build the company. The following is the patent register information on the trademark SLY, taken from the official source. #################################### Day of announcement 03.05.1997 Registered day 11.13.1998 Owner Cooper, Stephanie, 07010, Palma de Mallorca (Baleares), ES Subsidiary Llagostera Soto, María del Carmen, 08036, Barcelona, ES Status Expired Expiry date 02.05.2007 ###################################### It is interesting to note that all the three porn trademarks of "The Mosers" I know of were applied for much earlier than they were registered. They are first mentioned in the trademark register in 1993, but remained unregistered until 1997 or 1998 respectively. As 10 years is the minimum time frame a trademark can be protected in the EU, it is understandable the one above expired in 2007. No one ever applied for a prolongation. Moreover, there was another trademark of the same name, but of different appearance registered in 1998. This one explicitly denotes the purpose of the trademark: »[...] Films, Audio-Video-CDs; Film-, Magazines, Photos, Posters, Prints and other publications[...]« The owner of this trademark is the same Ms. Cooper mentioned before. It expired 10 years later. Conclusion: Moser was an employee of Ms. Cooper, at least as far as the legal rights on the pictures are concerned. He did not own any rights on anything he ever "produced". Cooper owned all companies' assets as well. Sarah was his wife and that was that. Moser officially worked for nothing. Side note 1: Ma. Llagostera Soto operates and owns a professional service agency managing »industrial rights claims«. The firm is still located in Barcelona. Side note 2: imdb lists Ms. Cooper as a Make-Up Artist for the sets of Mosers porn ventures from 1993. She was the legal rights holder of all the companies' products which were linked to Moser. So it was all set up: The rights on all the material were owned by Ms. Cooper the cosmetician and managed by Llagostera Soto. Hans was only the face to remember and do the visible work. If Mrs. Cooper or L-S are still marketing this material is unknown, all trademarks have expired afaik. Call Ma. Llagostera Soto if you like. She is easily reachable. I've just spotted that, in a few of Sarah's early shoots, she was credited as Suzanne or Susie Ayres. Given that many UK models start off doing glamour or topless shoots under their real name it's made me wonder if this could be hers, rather than Sarah Louise Young.

The technical quality of her stuff was outstanding for the time. What they didn't realize is that everyone wanted to see her body, not the naked men around her or her lingerie. If she wasn't going to take her clothes off, what was the point in looking -- to see nude dudes?
It's like they didn't know whose body we wanted to look at |

Mike Hunter
is now running a little shop in Cologne, Germany, Große Weyerstr. 5. There are apparently some SLY titles under the Brand "Sarah Young" marketed with his name on the box. Those are the Discs that can still be found today. Strangly, he is not selling the discs directly, so this might be another francise only using the name MH.
I am interested to know where the expired rights to those titles went, as SLY titles can still be ordered, but are clearly not marketed by the beforementioned old trademark owners, which could mean the film rights have to be sold to some entity. Who is presently printing and distributing them is a little mystery. EDIT: In Germany, there is a mail order shop where ALL Sarah Young titles can be ordered! In the following weeks, I will order some of those to further investigate. The discs are labled: Director: Mike Hunter, Produced by Videorama ????? EDIT II: The »new« discs are marketed under a different brand name, not using the expired brands of Ms. Cooper. They apparently comprise re-cycled old material. Will look into it some time later. Sad to see that those ages old videos are still sold as if they never went out of print, while Ms. »barrister-wannabe« Sarahwhoever is lost somewhere in the english speaking world and Moser has died pennyless.
