Thanks, beutelwolf!
I have edited the 2013 MB entry; removing the old image links, and substituting the new ones. |

This thread is solved, but does not have this information in the title.

Firstly: I think this thread is perhaps getting pretty close to being worth keeping, though I'm not sure whether it's a PMT or not? /shrug/
That raises a more general question: we have some threads that are marked as solved but they probably (I haven't actually asked the relevant section mods, but it seems a fair assumption) don't have a name suitable for use as a new thread title in the relevant models section. Some examples: egafd xnk0000 style "names", or here a single first name & number, this time from bgafd. I agree that these seem unsatisfactory types of names/titles for a model thread, but on the other hand it would also seem unfortunate if, having marked them as solved, we then later decide to delete them. Is there somewhere, or some way, for them to be "kept" in MIR? They're not the same as PMT because they're not in sufficient condition to be moved to a models section, but maybe PMT is still the right sort of area for them? Or else perhaps just keep them in MIR but mark them as both "solved" and "keep thread"? /shrug/ Just chucking out thoughts. A model thread, including PMT or queries for keeping are (technically) "graphs" or network mappings of associations, i.e. linkages of various instances of model pictures & various metadata (mag. titles, "instances" such as vol. & no., dates, in-mag. "names"/aliases, etc., perhaps photog.). It would seem a shame to "lose" all that through query deletion? Yes, I know, mag. posts of these sets are still present in the mags. sections, etc., but it is the connexions, the linkages, that are of concern/perhaps want to be retained? |

I recently had some correspondence with the Classic Pornstars Mods and they don't want thread titles with the XNK designations. I agree we have threads which should be kept intact but for various reasons must remain in this section such as in this example. The simplest way would be to use the [keep thread] designation so it doesn't inadvertently get trashed. Then when eligible the first post could go into the Mystery Box and the remainder of the thread shunted to the Mystery Corner as a follow-up.
Sally [11] @ BGAFD would make an acceptable thread title, I think. One name magazine names would also be acceptable if the name appears repeatedly. The worst case is when the model appears in various magazines with a different name each time. None of these names would really be suitable as a thread title. I believe amassing material for a model and preserving it is an important function of this section. |

Somewhere in MIR there's a query for this model. This doesn't really add anything to the query except (I think) this is a better quality scan. Anyway, I'm drawing a blank in trying to re-find the right thread to post/link, so maybe someone here else can help?
A cutout scan kindly posted by Jim. edit: no, found it & this scan is already posted there, sorry. Please ignore or mods can delete, I've left it up just to notify. Last edited by effCup; February 17th, 2016 at 01:35 PM.. |
