I think Robin's best route home would be the M2 from Dover to the M25 interchange, take the M25, cross the Dartford bridge, and carry on until the M11 interchange, take the M11 all the way to where it ends near Cambridge, follow the A14 west from the M11 until it joins the A1 Great North Road, then head north until the A1 joins the A57 at the Sherwood Forest roundabout...

I don't think Robin really wants to go to Nottingham.

The couple has just had noise drunken monkey sex. The bedclothes are still on the bed and rather unruffled and they appear to be L-shaped, covering the woman up to her neck but exposing the man from the waist up. This is backwards.

Just reminded me of something. Cruise's son buggers off (unarmed) to join an 'obviously doomed army unit' midway through the film. The army unit is wasted as we see a burning Hummer come rolling past Tom a few seconds later - indicating everyone who hadn't done a runner was now dust.

Cut to end of film. Fu*kwit son who had tried to join 'obviously doomed army unit' has made it home to Grandma's before Tom and daughter. WTF.

One thing I forgot to mention - the part where he swings out of the tree, I think to rescue the boy. The tree is on Hadrian's Wall! Dover to Nottingham via Hadrian's Wall and all in one day"!. That's some travelling.

When I was a kid, I cycled from Dewsbury, in Yorkshire, to Mirfield, 5 miles down the road, to visit said Hoods grave, marked on ordenance survey, at the back of the 'Three Nunns' pub. We thought we had found the holy grail only to discover, years later that there are six Hood 'Grave' sites marked on ordenance survey.
