Johann David Heinichen was a German composer in the Baroque period. He lived mostly in the city of Dresden. He composed a great deal of music all of which has survived to the present. A total of almost 300 works. More than half are church music such as cantatas, oratorios, masses and motets. He also composed symphonies, sonatas, concertos, and cocerti grossi. This disc is a mixture of different kinds of concertos. |
