Some beer news!
Iron Maiden makes their own belgian beer.

Today's drink is from Czechoslovakia: Zatec Pivovar Dark Lager. Pours a rich, dark copper/brown color with a tall tan head. Alcohol content 5.7% Tastes of sweet malts, toffee, caramel, coffee and chocolate. Very good overall.

Lately I have been drinking Soave whilst boring you Folks.
Unfortunately the BIG supermarket that said it needed to turn things around and be more customer focus, has run out of my Soave and also the nearest substitute so I am on something I have never before tasted.
Wine. And not bad. £3.56 a bottle.

I paid £4.75 for a glass in London last weekend. 175ml.

Sipping a rather large Vecchia Romagna Brandy. First time I have drank it. I am pleasantly surprised given its low price. Bottoms up, everyone!

Last night I started with 2 beers than a few glasses of white vine and I finished myself with 3 rhums & lemon. Wasn't drunk but alright. A nice little starter for the weekend.
