Our colleague deezer has finally transitioned over to his commitment with egafd and he's no longer able to spend any significant amount of time with us. He was a great help and both his assistance and his expertise will be missed. Thanks, deezer.

This section was still sorely understaffed with three Moderators and now with only two it's become impossible to cope with the work load. Unfortunately this means some changes are necessary to keep Dick Needle and myself from totally flaking out and beating up Jehovah's Witnesses who come to our door or kicking our dogs or something (and we like our dogs). So...

Effective immediately model ID requests are limited to one per day per member. Unfolded Mysteries and MB followup threads will remain unaffected for now and we'll see how it goes.

We've also been very patient with those who cannot seem to grasp even our most simple rules and continue to post oversized thumbs, post more than the limit of requests each day, and so on. From now on these posts and threads will simply be removed. We just can't be spending time on these and neglecting those members who do follow our rules.

I'm sorry to have to implement these measures but I'd rather keep the section organized than have it descend into chaos. At this time I'd like to thank the good members who use this section and also those who give up their own free time to try to help others with their requests.

When the 2017 MBox was initially finished I was happy to see it was only around 58 pages, the last entry being from Dick Needle on 12/30/17. Then, people submitted numerous solves, which presumably should reduce the page count.

Instead, it's growing, now currently at 62 pages. How does this happen? The last entries are still the same. This doesn't happen, or I haven't noticed it, in other MB's. Just curious.
