Default Dubbing in in Cee Cee movies

Just a thought. It's always struck me as a real shame that the wonderful films and loops from cee cee are overdubbed. Does anyone know why they didn't release the original versions? (or did they?)

It would be so great to hear the real voices of Christa, Esther etc..

I too would love to hear their voices!
My guess is that the Theander brothers filmed with no sound at all...when you see pictures from the sets you never see the "sound man" with the microphone.
If you speak danish you can sometimes mouthread what they're saying..but that's a poor compensation I know

In those days it was far too complicated and expensive to record actual live sound while filming. The film cameras which were used back then were quite noisy (there were of course less noisy cameras, but they were expensive and only used for big professional movie or TV productions). And the locations where the shootings took place were full of unneeded original sound (car traffic, birds, construction work). Remember, those porn studios weren't real sound proof film studios. You would have needed a professional sound technician to fix all that, someone who also cares about the microphones, where to put them, how to hide them etc. The filmmakers would not only have to pay for those professionals, but also for the renting of the sound equipment. Furthermore, the directors could talk to the actors during the shooting and tell them what to do, how to move etc. Finally, most of the actors were amateurs, not professional actors with trained voices. There is an interesting Making Of of one of Hans Billian's Mutzenbacher movies. When you hear the lame voices of the actors and actresses, it becomes obvious that they had to be dubbed by professionals.
All in all, it was reasonable to dub the films later on after the final version of the film had been cut. This made it also easier to produce international versions in different languages, and to use actors from different parts of the world speaking different languages. It's completely different nowadays. Recording the sound while using the camera is not an additional cost factor. It's easy and cheap, and it doesn't matter whether the actors can't properly talk. They maybe say a few words, then they shut up, and do what they are paid to do. And the moaning and groaning is something even the most untalented actors are able to produce in a more or less decent quality.

Hi,Following on from this discussion, admittedly a bit late, why are there not that many cee cee films dubbed into English,or am I just not looking hard enough,or perhaps in the wrong places ? I have a couple but would like to find more,as the dialogue and the general posh voices used make the films hilarious as well as visually interesting...

I didn't know there were any in English? All the ones I have seen are in German. Care to provide the titles of the English dubbed ones?

I can only remember to have heard the german language in many of vintage Danish loops and about a handful with a scandinavian language, maybe Danish.

Is there known more about these standard german speakers, who can be heard in so many danish loops again and again? Where the loops have been synchronisized for example and by who? And when the loops where synchronisized? A short time after filming or years later to compile some videos or DVDs? There is one girl voice for example often appearing, sounding really young and real slutty at the same time.

I think, the reason, why it seems to be only a German language version available from almost all loops may be the large German market. You only pay for synchronisation, when you exspect to get the money back and more money on top too. This expection may have not exist in the english language countries, so they made no english synchronisation.
