Some bars do provide pitchers in Britain for lager but they are more commonly used for small groups of women for a sharing cocktail and similar.

Today's drink is from Germany: Maisel's Weisse (Aus Bayreuth) Original Hefe Weissbier. A typical light wheat beer. Alcohol content 5.4%. Pours a cloudy amber/orange with a tall cream-colored head that lasts. Tastes of banana, pear, clove and even some caramel. Malt and hop flavors well balanced. Very good overall.

Nothing yet apart from a glass of milk with a late tea. However I have a bottle or two of Soave cooling. I wonder if I can resist the temptation considering I am off tomorrow??
