Of course, Greenman
I agree with you, Greenman.
But we have a special thread for pictures of girls and here to talk about James Bond. That's why I posted the photos in the Bond Girls thread. However, it seems to me that sometimes we can post here pictures when the news is needed. Similarly, when we have a fun or rare photo on James Bond general, it's more fun to put it here as this is its true place. For example, here are some pictures that I love, like those old actors 007. Here we see my favorite 4 in the role. Or this photo with Dalton ! I love behind the scenes.

This is interesting. Cardiff assembly members turned down the SPECTRE people (as they wanted to film in the Assembly building) They were approached last year about the possibility of filming there but they said NO! Their argument was "it is not a drama studio" Hmm, some Welsh people might disagree with that statement - still it's their loss, could have given Cardiff a bit more publicity and helped with tourism.

If you didn't see it tonight-and it has been repeated-watch Behind the Bond with Daniel Craig sounding like Peppa Pig and it also ropes in Ben Wishaw, Rory Kinnear, Michael G Wilson and Naomie Harris doing a northern accent(Johnny Vegas) but the big surprise was Sir Roger Moore re-voiced by Sarah Millican. It is very silly but very funny. Watch it on BBC iPlayer OR watch for it on Youtube soon.

Does Ben Wishaw now voice Paddington Bear.? Or did I just not get his joke..??
As for Millican voicing RM... Pathetic... the woman and her damn voice!!! I've always loved the accent; Jayne Middlemiss being one of my top babes; but that unfunny (so called 'comedy star') just fails to make me laugh with her annoying squealing voice..!! Was the voice they used for DC the same kid they used for the Haribo advert in the cinema too..? the one where the girl has a guy flirt with her in front of her boyfriend..?

Yes he did the voice of Paddington for the film last year-that was the joke that he dubbed his OWN voice for Q. I thought the kid's voice would turn out to be the girl that did the Peppa Pig programmes - it sounded a lot like her, and Naomie Harries was dubbed by Johnny Vegas. Yes I also find Sarah Millican's voice intensely annoying, just too piercing!! I did think that Sir Roger wasa good sport though, don't forget he did a Victoria Wood special once playing a spy reading a comic on the London Eye. I thought it was fun especially when Craig says "enjoy the film...I'm off to do some colouring in." Alan Carr being the real voice was stretching it a bit though.

New book out soon by Anthony Horowitz(writer of the teen spy Alex Rider series of books) for James Bonf and it is called TRIGGER MORTIS, and will feature the return of Pussy Galore. The adventure begins in 1957 two weeks after Goldfinger. It is out 8th September and is based on a short story written by Ian Fleming himself.
You might also have seen last week Daniel Craig and the James Bond film crew were filming around the Thames in London and had several bridges closed, although some of the public were allowed to watch filming. The film is due for release later this year.

Here's a (somewhat) odd thought. If you could be any character in the Bond universe OTHER than 007, who would you be?
Me, I think I'd be Q. He got to play with all the toys.

Q or M for me. Both have the respect of the service and 007 and M is supposed to have accompanied Bond on some escapades if the story James Bond is about to regale in 'From Russia With Love' was anything to go by - interrupted by M running the tape forward(recorded by Bond and Tatiana whilst explaining about the Lector)
Q on the other hand yes, for the gadgets and remember he almost got all the girls in Octopussy "Look there's no time for that...well maybe later!"

Ever wondered where the name Felix Leiter came from-well it was from a friend of Ian Fleming called Ivar Bryce, whom he had been at school with at Eton, and who had been given a Bentley R-Type Continental by Ian. Now Ivar's middle name was FELIX and he also had Diamonds Are Forever dedicated to him. Incidentally the car was recently discovered in a Hollywood garage and after being restored will be sold next month. It's asking price is £1.5m.

FAB-U-LOUS! as Craig Revel Horwood would say! The trailer for the new James Bond film 'SPECTRE' is magnificent and looks amazing - get over to Youtube or other media and have a look. No wonder Sam Mendes reckons it's bigger than Skyfall-and that is going some.
