Imgbox is ok but it's a little cumbersome and it doesn't have a 180x180 thumbnail size.

I find it simple to use, I use 150x150 thumbnails that works quite well sometimes if you want 5 or 6 images on a line, and did I say it was fast

The general advice of long-time users of this board is to avoid PimpAndHost. I've only been here a few weeks, so I'm not saying I won't come to see the wisdom of that, but at present my experience says differently. I've just tested it

and I was able both to upload and to see the resultant images on VEF. I previously posted in the help forum about the fact that the bulk uploader didn't work, but that seems to have been fixed and it now seems to upload at lightning speed. So I don't have any complaints - whereas my experience of ImageBam is that if you try and download the images from an older post using it, there are always 3 or 4 missing.

It works well sometimes, I use it now and again especially for gifs, but it goes down more than a tart on the Titanic

I can see the thumbs, but when trying to download I get a message that the connection failed due to connection timed out.
And that goes for all pimp pictures

Anyone uploading should choose the best host that suits them

A handful saying this is king while that sucks always tend to gloss over the facts

Go take a look at the imagebam support forum and see how perfect that host truly is
having replaced several servers not that long ago which were causing mayhem for downloaders....no mention of that because their one of the good hosts

Try uploading few galleries of pics to imagevenue and see how they score 100% for dropped pics every time

Very few if any hosts have been really really bad as in outages for weeks on end and that dates back quite a few years

All of them have issues with a minority having no access intermittently

Smartest thing anyone can do is spread their content around

Use pimpandhosts zipfile facility or simply link to the gallery on the host and back them up on one of the others and when any of them go down for what ever amount of time your posts wont be a blank canvas as has occured for more than just P& H over the years

Could I be at my limit on Pimp& Host?

I can't seem to upload the way I used to. Instead of 'just' posting images i'm asked if I want to upload URL's and then it seems to screw up.

Any ideas anybody???
