Capricorn One - it's a great film not only due to the still nagging doubts as to the moon landings ever having taken place but also one of the astronauts was known to regularly struggle putting his gloves on. Surely that would be fatal in a place with no breathable atmosphere; if not necessarily in a court room.

Titanic - the iceberg was an obvious ploy by the evil English rich folk to mask a plan to kill poor Irish labourers travelling to start a new life.

One of my favorite conspiracy films is that great Robert Redford film based on the bestselling novel: Three days of the Condor which also stars Max Von Sydow.

Surprised no one mentioned Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson, which is a flick I revisit every few years (I think I still have it taped on VHS). I also quite enjoyed Blow Out (only have seen this recently), The China Syndrome (very depressing), and All The President's Men (an obvious choice). There are probably a lot more I've seen and liked, but I can't think of at the moment.

I actually the prefer the German version of this, Die Wannseekonferenz. It is less theatrical, more the penpushers' conference the real thing was, but when it comes to depicting relatively recent historic events I prefer accuracy over histrionical embellishments.

Moonwalkers

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2718440/?ref_=nv_sr_1

The true story of how the CIA got Stanley Kubrick to fake the moon landings.

Well not quite, but a very funny violent film, with a great sixties feel

"Nagging doubts that the moon landings ever happened.." Heavy sigh.

I suggest watching "In the Shadow of the Moon", the 2007 documentary which interviewed most of the surviving Apollo crew members who went to the moon. In the playout over the end titles they have clearly asked the question "What do you say to the people who say the moon landings were faked?" Charlie Duke's response is best... "We'd have had to have faked it nine times... nine times!"

Having just watched it again for about the sixth time, I recommend the one Spike Lee film I can bear (as it isn't constantly preaching) "Inside Man" starring Denzel Washington and Clive Owen about a bank robbery that isn't really about robbing a bank.

In a recent tabloid, they claimed that Buzz Aldren stated that aliens forced the Apollo 11 to leave early. Whenever anyone one tell me that the moon landing was fake, I tell them what Buzz said. It freaks them out.
