One outcome of this debacle is that no other nation will even dream of leaving

No other nation has the idiots running the asylum.

Just for the record our elected Parliament has no intention of leaving, even if May & Corbyn agree a deal, enough in each party to sink it.

Today I watched a documentary made by a French journalist who would have voted for Brexit if he was British and had followed Michel Barnier trying to find solutions with Theresa May during these last two years.

IMHO, they both (with their colleagues) have lost two years of their life for administrative hassles.

And I felt unconfortable to watch all this latent hatred between Irish people because of religions.

Awful.

We are much better spending time to stay away from things that finally... will not last very long after our death.

That doesn't mean you still have the right to vote.

Am I correct?

UK is like Switzerland. Far too dependent from the EU economy.

Until Britain leaves she continues to have both the rights and the duties/obligations of a full member. Presumably this means paying in to the budget. When we leave, and only if we leave with an agreement in place, Britain has agreed to pay a severance payment to settle her commitments.

I fixed that for you, vo1v0d.

I'm willing to bet a glorious British 5p coin that some people in every country want to leave, not all of them evil, right-wing fascists either.

Granted. There are probably tens of millions who would like to leave but with our current fiasco if anybody said it out loud they would probably be kicked to death and the coroners verdict would be shoeicide

That's not what was shown during the documentary and according to Mr. Barnier who said he was very sad to ask Ms. May to leave the office when they had to vote.

To be honest, Mr. Barnier didn't look to be an anti-British European, Tusk seemed to be far less consensual.... but that's only what shown the documentary.

Plenty of European people dislike THIS EU.
The problem is mainly this ultraliberal philosophy imposing total free market.
Shareholders used EU to destroy local economy and people vote for politicians defending shareholders, because they dislike to pay social taxes.

If you are talking about the vote taken by the other 27 member nations on whether or not to give Britain an extension to the two year Article 50 period of notice then it is hardly surprising that the other 27 member nations needed to discuss that without Britain being present.

I would not have asked for that extension, regardless of anything Parliament said to the contrary, because Parliament serves the people, not the other way around - and the people said Leave. But since the Britiah government did make the request, it was the right and duty of the other members to discuss the matter, and Britain had no place in that discussion. QED.
