Gonna have to agree with Estreeter here. Lets have a bit of time off to relax from this crap. Oh, my bet is the only candidate the Republicans can come up with who will have a chance is Chris Christy (remember me asking about him torpedoing Mittens?). He's about the only somewhat central Republican I can think of anymore.

But, then again, its entirely possible the Republicans implode. You keep hearing this a.m. that the Republicans weren't conservative enough. That they need more Santorums and his ilk. Who knows. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Tea Party split from the Republicans. Probably dooming both.

Actually, the Maya never said such a thing. It was some idiot archeologist (or something) misinterpreting a page in the Dresden Codex. Yes, the Mayan timekeeping was the best of all time (some argue their timekeeping is still better than ours) but they never said the world will end on December 21.

But I do understand your point. I sometimes wish they actually had predicted it with a lot of the things going on nowadays. But then I usually wake up.

Surely you know that Mrs. Palin never said this Comrade? Tina Fey, while doing a parody of Palin on "Saturday Night Live", said it.

Palin said you can see Russia from Alaska. Referring to Big Diomede Island (Russia) and Little Diomede Island (USA).

I have been listening to a lot of conservative radio today and having a few giggles.

Overall they are saying that the Republicans need a "true" conservative and "non-establishment" candidate to run. Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, and Marco Rubio have been the three talked about most.

I've been listening to the same thing and its been a real hoot. I hope they do nominate any one of those three. It'll be pretty much of a cake walk for the Democrat if they do.

Can anyone really imagine any one of those three as President?

Something to keep an eye on.

I'm noticing this morning that the conservative pundits are really starting to use the "makers vs. takers" talking point a lot. I wonder how long this will last.

Me thinks the Republicans learned absolutely nothing three days ago.

They're wrong on that. They don't like minorities, but Asian Americans make more money and pay more tax than white Americans. Jews also. But they voted Democrat 3:1. Draw your conclusions

The Republicans are making a lot of excuses and no, they haven't learned anything.

I had a great laugh last night listening to Hannity going on about how Obama had "cheated" his way to victory by saying all of those "horrible, nasty, disgusting things" about Romney. And he didn't know how Obama could live with himself and how he must feel like scum. Of course, Romney never said anything bad about Obama at all and was the nicest, most honest man in the world.

Beck has taken to blaming Chris Christie for the loss, calling him "Fat Bastard", and making lots of jokes about his weight.
