You are really starting to display an unhealthy fixation with quokkas, Trailmaster...nearly as bad as cartoonist Garry Larson and cows....however should Lake Taupo decide to have another vent...you might be right about the tsunami. Last time (about 239 AD...) it was about the 2nd or 3rd largest volcanic eruption ever documented.....

Nope. It'll be the catalyst for glory when he comes down here.

On Wednesday night. I watched the show, Hard Quiz. The guy who won was a pom whose specialty subject was Wombats. It reminded me of another non Australian who has a lot of knowledge about one of our native animals.

If trailmaster went on the show with his specialty subject being quokkas. The other contestants won't have a chance.

I think they think kicking it is cheating. Apparently you supposed to pick it up and run with it.

It's fact that the British were not the original settlers here, it's also fact that at times the Brits were not treating the natives well at all.

Fast forward 200 plus years,
Some far left clowns and some Aboriginals prefer to call Australia Day, Invasion Day. Perhaps it is to the Aboriginals and that view should be respected somewhat.

My view is this, if a white person feels that way, leave

Fremantle, in Western Australia won't be celebrating Australia Day anymore, which is also a national public holiday, nope, they want to have 'One Day in Fremantle' 2 days after Australia Day just so that they can be "culturally sensitive "

Me, I'd fire the entire Fremantle City Council if I had the means

We in the United States are very much aware that our ancestors conducted a racist genocidal campaign against the native peoples. We have routinely violated treaties and trampled on Indian rights. We also don't have a good record of treatment towards people of African descent. But, you know what, those folks should figure out how to help themselves because contemporary white folks have no interest in giving up property or taking money out of their own pockets. Not saying that this is justice, but it is what's so.

Maybe he should forget the Quokka on Rottnest Island and go a little further North up the WA coast and have a swim with the Dugong ???

I didn't know they exported it. But I think it's ok. I don't have the greatest taste buds, but it's about the same quality as VB, imho

People are drinking more wine in the north these days. 20 years ago, almost no one had heard of Australian, Californian or Chilean wines, but now it sells well. Maybe it's the women who like it

The USA is currently top of FIFA world rankings. Australia is placed seventh.

... OK, OK, not in the other half of the world, but. There the USA is 28th & Australia 48th.

At least we're not still talking q̶u̶o̶k̶k̶a̶s̶. TM might think he's a talking quokka but I'm a bipedal humanoid robot, three-legged m̶o̶n̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ , er... i̶m̶p̶o̶s̶t̶e̶r̶, um... stool pigeon?

Dugong's are aquatic mammals. They're not as cute as quokkas, and I would have to go into the ocean to play with them, which could be hazardous because I might turn around and there would be the black eye of a great white shark staring at me thinking I'm its next meal. Not to worry. I would just jam my finger in that dead black eye and it would swim away.

Doesn't this thing sort of look like palo5
