She was nicknamed "The Venezuelan Volcano". Universal Studios attempted to mold her into an ape/jungle woman in monster-type movies. She acted in mostly B-rated movies -- Tarzan and the Leopard Woman, Lost Continent, and Jungle Woman are just a few.
