I certainly am. There is NO evidence of any divine presence anywhere.
What we get for proof is ..... if it's good - That's because of God If it's bad.... it's man's fault I have no problem with other people's beliefs, religions sprang up all over the world well before the Christian era. They survived as they suited the people and conditions of that time such as the Sumerians, Vikings, Greeks, Druids, Romans and Christianity thrived due to the fact the people were oppressed by the Romans. The ONLY religion I cannot fathom is that peculiar Christian sect who think the world is only a few thousand years old, and there's lots of them. Read books by the likes of Ken Ham (don't buy them though ) and prepare to throw all semblance of reality away. |

No one said it was simple, Comrade - obviously it isn't. Clearly it is a question of how long their brains require to think coherently

I am an atheist. What I am not is evangelical about it. Everyone has the right to their own opinions, provided that they do not try to impose them on others or discriminate based on them.
It is important to note that not having faith in a deity does not preclude an individual from living their life in a way that could be described as "moral" and acting ethically. A book telling you to act in a particular way is not needed to achieve this. |
