There she is called Sally.

A more complete set was published at Pr1v@t€ as well.
Especial the last cumshot pic I noticed a couple of times in other sources.

Mod Edit:
Still Unclear:

A model thread has been started for this Box babe with nothing more than a first name from one of her spreads. Not sure it counts as a solve but presented here for your consideration and debate.

...not to mention the thread was started just today. I'm reluctant to call this a solve so I've quoted Immy's post into the box post and we'll keep this thread alive for further discussion.

The poster has done a lot of detective work on these threads looking for comparisons to UK top shelf mags and in my opinion and many others he is doing sterling work. The object of this forum is to post pictures and the details offered, sparse though they may be, are most likely the closest we will get to an ID. Surely it is best to give his posts exposure, that way full IDs may come in the fullness of time...

I don't question his abilities and indeed he should be encouraged in their useful application.

Following that logic we would move all content that has at least one name out of MIR & the mystery boxes and into the main parts of vef. Then much of the id-discovery/resolution process would occur in model threads themselves. Is that a fair summary of what you're advocating?

Meglos is correct in that there's more exposure in the model threads than there is here. But this is the Model ID Request section and our purpose, although related, is not the same as the model thread sections.

Of course that is not what I am advocating. With the greatest of respect some Mods always respond to a members opinion with a knee-jerk response. These threads in question always have pictures from at least 2 other magazines which, in some cases, the models name is consistent. I am not suggesting a "one name free for all thread construction" but where providence of a modelling career is exhibited across more than one publication, I think its fair game for a thread. That small change to posting criteria would stop the posting anarchy that you suggest and would more than likely occur...

The thread for "Sandy" has:

Sandy from Escort 09-03, 1989.
Sally from Private 88, 1987, see here.

No third set & no pattern for name.

I'm simply trying to understand the logic of your advocated position. If it's not the case that all models where we have just a single name can become model threads, then it becomes far more arbitrary: we allow only some models with just first names to become threads, but not others.

In my view that arbitrariness is kind of correct, but with the important rider that we allow some model threads with just first names only where we've first collectively done our best to try and find a better name/id but have failed. In general we want model threads to have their best-known-as professional handle, not just the name some member happens to choose for whatever reason and quite possibly selected at random or the first name they found.

"Sandy" is not a particularly good id for a classic model/pornstar. Nor is "Sally". They are insufficiently distinctive. If these sets had been posted in a MIR query I don't think we would be rushing to mark them as solved because we'd be hoping to find a better name for her id.

Default IDS and Confusion

I do see what you are saying, none of us want the forum to become a mess. Maybe another section could be constructed for these tenuous IDs so that their various appearances can be consolidated pending a possible distinctive ID. Would this idea create a lot of work for the Mods ? I appreciate that running this tip top forum is no picnic at the best of times...

Maybe. What benefit(s) would that arrangement offer over simply using MIR for that very same purpose?

MIR is, for the most part, just a temporary funnel, directing posters with content to the correct model threads. But some content ends up staying longer in MIR because of difficulties finding an id, finding (or sometimes creating) the right model thread outlet.

The general accuracy of the results from MIR is advantageous, reducing the amount of work of mods in other sections who would otherwise have to spend even more time tidying up model duplications & debates over such/ids/names, etc. Time invested in MIR trying to find a good id/name also saves mods in those other sections from some of that bother.

Fair question, I dunno. Might you perhaps expect the folk who spend time in MIR to also spend time in this second area, looking for ids for the models there? In that sense it seems to me like rather needless duplication, a bit like simply making a MIR #2.

I appreciate everyone's point of view but all this discussion is off-topic in a request thread. I encourage you all to continue in one of the stickies I created for this purpose. Thanks.
